Submissions & Collaborations
At Healing Time Publishing, we understand how vulnerable writing can be. We know how heavy it feels to say, “I want to write a book.”We also know how overwhelming it can be to start one alone. Not everyone is ready to publish a full manuscript — and that’s okay. That’s why we create collaborative book projects and open submission calls. These opportunities allow writers to contribute a single piece, build confidence, gain publishing experience, and add to their portfolio without carrying the full weight of producing an entire book on their own. Whether you are a seasoned writer or someone who has never shared your words publicly, our submission calls are designed to create safe entry points into authorship. You don’t have to do it alone. Participating in an anthology or collaborative project allows you to: Become a published author. Share your voice in a collective body of work. Build your writing portfolio. Gain exposure through contributor features. Grow your confidence as a writer. We believe healing happens in community. And sometimes your first “yes” to writing begins with one letter, one poem, one shared truth.
Open Call
Letters to Mothers From: Your Sons & Daughters
Submissions Are Open
We talk about healing often.
Much of that conversation centers around the absent father. Letters to Fathers created space for those truths.
But when it comes to mothers, the conversation is softer. We honor them — as we should — but true healing asks that we see the full picture.
Every child has an experience.
Some felt safe and seen.
Some felt loved but unheard.
Some wished their mother came to the games.
Listened longer.
Hugged tighter.
This is not about grading parenting.
It’s not an attack.
It’s an invitation.
If you are a mother, your children will one day have words about their experience with you — some beautiful, some uncomfortable. That is part of growth.
Letters to Mothers invites sons and daughters to celebrate, honor, question, vent, forgive, or finally tell the truth about their lived experience.
If this resonates with you, submit your letter.
